Jarrahdale beginners loop

Langford Park, with its BBQ’s and picnic table, makes the perfect option for a family day out riding.  If you want to enjoy the best of Jarrahdale, this is a shorter loop that still offers plenty of fun but with less distance. This is a better loop for beginners who are looking to progress their skills without the distance thrown in. There is still plenty of fun single track to test your skills.

Jarrahdale, very easy beginners loop

This loop is perfect for someone who wants to build their confidence with a small amount of singletrack in a short loop. Starting by riding up to the centre fire road loop of Lovers Lane the ride then finishes by looping back on to the end of Woodley’s Loop for a brief taste of some of the great single track riding that is available at Langford Park. If you feel comfortable with this then try out some of the other recommended trails in Langford Park.

Marrinup, Dwellingup

Marrinup is definitely the flattest option of all of our beginner trails and very enjoyable. It is the number 1 recommended trail for beginners by all of our staff. There are two loop options, both with very little climbing and equally as fun. The longer loop offers the best beginner riding. This trail is also right next to the Munda Biddi so you can ride here from town if you are looking for a much longer ride (probably just under 30km round trip). There is camping available at Marrinup with a basic drop toilet. Dwellingup has great little cafes for food and coffee.

Skills park, Kalamunda Trail Network

Just outside the gates of the Calamunda Camel Farm is a short (roughly 800 metres) skills loop. This is the perfect way to get comfortable with your bike and the type of terrain you will face on the other trails in the network. Or if the whole family has come out for the day then this is a great spot for the really young ones to be entertained while others head off for a bigger ride.
