On the first Thursday of every month, we celebrate two of our favourite things; bikes and boutique beer.
Each month we will feature a new beer on tap from a local brewery along with a different feature on bikes, for example, suspension servicing, the latest demo bikes or just a chance to meet like-minded people. Follow us on Facebook to see what happening at the next beer and bikes night and come in and have a beer with us.
We are please to announce our next four monthly beer and bike nights. The idea of these nights is a chance to come and mix with like minded people over a few locally brewed beers fresh from the keg. The beer is free along with the knowledge from our friendly expert staff. Each night is a different topic and if you don’t want to listen then just enjoy the beer! It is on the first Thursday of each month. Below are the dates, the topics and most importantly the beer that we are planning to have on tap!
Thursday 7th – Wheels with Feral Brewery Hop Hog
Our expert wheel builder, Murray Dickson, will work through the magic art of wheel building and the finer points of what it takes to get it right. Along with discussing wheel building we will also take you through what it takes to do a tubeless set up for your mountain (or road) bike. The beer will be from the well known Swan Valley based Feral Brewery.
Thursday 5th – General Maintenance – Eagle Bay Brewing Pale Ale
We will go through the basics of how to care for your bike. Cleaning, lubing, adjusting brakes and gears and what not to do. All of this while drinking another great WA local brew from Eagle Bay.
Thursday 2nd – Topic to be advised – Nowhere Brewing Co APA
The American Pale Ale from our new neighbours (West Leederville based) is an absolute crowd pleaser. They have only been open a short while but it is already a personal favourite of ours.
Thursday 7th – You tell us what the topic should be?
We are leaving this one open to the public to tell us what the topic should be. Could it be how to get approval for how to buy yourself a Christmas present? You can even start giving us some recommendations for the beer as well.
The events will be limited to 30 people so that we can have small groups to work with so please RSVP by emailing firstname.lastname@example.org to let us know if you are coming. As always we will have a local brew on tap and soft drink and food available.
