Every staff member at Wembley Cycles is a passionate cyclist, and the store prides itself on stocking only the highest quality brands that the staff personally ride and believe in.

Inside you will find a retail store stocked full of the latest product to satisfy any biking enthusiast, a comprehensive workshop, and bike fit studio. Wembley Cycles is an authorised Specialized and S-Works dealer, and also sell Rocky Mountain and Santa Cruz. As well as bikes, Wembley Cycles incorporates Workshop Espresso café, serving up the finest brews using Five Senses beans, and delicious house baked options for breakfast and lunch. We strongly believe in the physical, mental and environmental benefits of cycling, and we do our best to make cycling accessible and enjoyable to all who walk through our doors, regardless of their age, ability or gender. We sell bikes to everyone from beginners to elite athletes, and we have the products and expertise to ensure that the end product is the perfect product for you.

Wembley Cycles operates on the mantra that a modern cycling store needs to be more than simply a retail outlet. Owners John and Felicity are passionate about giving back to the cycling community through a range of social and race events, community workshops and by supporting athletes. John and Felicity pride themselves on Wembley Cycle’s relaxed, friendly and approachable atmosphere and the staff’s passion for cycling.

Our History

Many of our regular customers will remember our old green shop; in fact, many of our regular customers helped us with our painstaking renovation transforming the old, derelict bakery into our new light, bright and fantastic bike shop.

Many of the locals remember our location as John’s Deli.  As we scrubbed the dust off the 60-year-old vintage vinyl, imagine our surprise when we discovered “John’s” inlaid into the vinyl.  From John’s deli in the 60’s to its current life as John’s bike shop.

Every day we feel extremely proud to work within this fabulous old building, with our dedicated team and alongside our fabulous customers and clients.

Group Rides

Every Wednesday our shop ride starts outside Wembley Cycles at 6.00am. We head down the coast to Fremantle, with a sprint along Port Beach. The turnaround point is at the Railway Hotel, where south of the river riders can tag on at 6.40am. We then head through Mosman Park and back to Workshop Espresso for coffee and breakfast. The average speed of this ride is around 30kph, and it is only recommended for experienced riders, or those who have previously completed our Saturday ride.

To keep up to date with the latest on our group rides, like us on Facebook or call us on (08) 9381 4446.

Our Team

We are extremely proud of our staff and their passion for cycling. Combined they have extensive knowledge and experience across almost all cycling disciplines.
